I posted about this a week or so ago, and I couldn’t believe the number of plays this track had received at that point, but now that it’s gone over 6000 I really can’t believe it at all. Where will it all end?

App revisit: Datalove Slice
I’ve mentioned Slice from the Strange Agency before, but this was a version of Slice they made but didn’t seem to publicise at all. It’s ok, not amazing, and functionally identical to the original Slice.
InGladAloneness
The last work from Mick Karn and Dalis Car. I got my copy today. It’s signed by Steve Jansen. I’m really looking forward to listening to it.
More Processing in iOS
App revisit: Studio App
Those click wheel games …
App revisit: Groovemaker
To be honest, I never really got on well with Groovemaker, so it’s going from my 3G.
SomaFM: Underground 80s
I started listening to this station just the other day, and it is wonderful, and terrible, all at the same time. It feeds my obsession with the 80’s sound, and delivers up songs that I hadn’t heard before, ones I’d long forgotten, and some that I wish I could forget too.
What a great little station. Long may it last.
App revisit: Looptastic Electro
I really love Looptastic Producer, and this is an earlier version of the app with no ability to add in samples or loops in any way. Which makes it kind of limited really, but it’s been fun to play with again, although I won’t be keeping it on my 3G.
The British Design Exhibition at the V&A
I heard about this a few weeks ago and was attracted to it because of the stuff connected to Factory Records, but actually there was loads more there. In fact there’s almost too much in this exhibition, and not enough, it that makes any sense at all.
It almost leaves you wanting lots more in every category. I loved the mini, but then wanted to see a load more vintage and classic cars, and the Jag was great I have to admit. The games stuff and the ZX Spectrum just fueled my craving for a Speccy and a ZX81.
I can see myself visiting this exhibition again in a few weeks as there’s too much to take in with one visit. But it’s well worth a look as is the V&A as a whole.
