After a long time I gave Gliss a go this morning, and it was even better than I remember! What a great app for drawing your sound. I’m certain to spend a bit more time with this app now.

A spectrum analyser running in the emulator
I really couldn’t believe that this Palm app worked under StyleTap, but it did, albeit a little slowly.
Remember SynthPond?
SynthPond was one of the first iOS music making apps and the concept still is very intriguing and interesting to play with.
I would have liked a way to record with this app and more controls over the sounds, especially filter and envelope controls. But, sadly, these were never forthcoming. Still, even without those it is still a great concept.

Concretedog’s album: The Coracle and the Yellow Shell
I’ve continued to listen to this album today, and I’m just amazed by the textures and chord sequences in this album. It is so gentle and subtle. I was also impressed by the very sparing use of electronics and how they were so well blended with the acoustic instruments.
New Who!
Wading through ZX Spectrum Music Apps
I’ve been trawling through these to see if I can find any that are actually useful or workable on my jailbreak 3G. So far they are all just a bit of a novelty and not too much more.
