I remembered that I still had an old Palm Tungsten C which I’d bought from a friend ages ago, and I thought I’d see if it still worked. Of course it did, with one caveat, but I’ll come back to that.
The Tungsten C was an interesting device, with a full keyboard and large screen it is a very easy to use device, and it supports WIFI and bluetooth. However, the WIFI doesn’t support WPA security which makes it kind of useless now. However, it is still on the face of it a very handy device. That is until I decided to see if I could run linux on it, and then as you can see from the picture with the stripey lines, it didn’t really like it.
It restored ok, and seems to be working fine now. All I need to do is to work out what to do with it next!
I’d forgotten this app was on my phone. Fun to play with for a little while.
