When I say new, of course I mean, there’s a plug in board. This is a first. Sadly on the Olegtron 4060 site there’s no word about how to buy one of these. Which is a shame as I’d love to get hold of one. So I’ve contacted them to find out and hopefully get hold of one for myself.
I’ve got the vinyl for this and now it’s on SoundCloud too. It’s a brilliant version. I love it!
I made this using my iRig Acoustic and a variety of effects. I was very pleased with this one. The iRig Acoustic is actually excellent and provides a very clear and pure sound. It’s well worth looking into and works beautifully with a Ukulele too.
When I was listening to some of my older field recordings I remembered that I’d tried to do a daily recording a couple of years ago. It didn’t last very long sadly. It was a difficult trying to find something every day that was going to be interesting, but it was a good discipline to try for.
I don’t think that I’d be able to maintain a daily field recording diary in 2016, but perhaps weekly might be more achievable? I’ll try it out and see.
I was skeptical about this audiobook as I thought it would just be too short get a real story going. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Even though it was short, only 35 minutes long, it was great. A good, self contained Doctor Who story. Well narrated by Louise Jameson too.
So I might need to look into a few more of these short trips stories now.
I’m sure I’ve posted this before, but here it is again.
All of my field recordings on SoundCloud.
I hope to significantly add to them next year if I can.
