These guys were really tight. They did Dexy’s stuff really well and played an awesome gig. I really enjoyed it. A great night out and a lovely venue too. I’m not sure that I’ve been there before or not.
Anyway, I’d recommend this lot anyday.
someone who's doing some things

I saw Eeek at the Half Moon Putney supporting Never the Bride. They were really really good. I was quite taken by their music, especially the quality of the vocals and the harmonies. In fact, so much so that I bought their CD. Now it’s time to see if their recorded music is as good as their live performance.
This was one of those sort of interactive experience things at the Science Museum. It was ok. Like a sort of animated film thing where the cinema seats throw you about a bit. It was fun. Short though.
In fact, the little film about the Mallard (the fastest steam train in the UK) was more interesting than the experience thing itself. Still, never mind.
So, you can’t have missed the fact that I’m doing Movember again this year. If you haven’t already checked it out, then please have a look at my page here.
If you can support me with a donation I’d really appreciate it. If not, please put the link on twitter or facebook or linkedin. I’d really like it if you could.
Finally. After all this time I’ve finished reading these books. The ending was ok. I won’t spoil it for you just in case you’re going to or are reading them. But it was ok. Something of a relief in fact. It’s done now. Over. I can move on and obsess about something else for a while!
I know I’ve mentioned this before, but their Kickstarter campaign is nearly done now and I thought I’d give it one more plug to see if it is worthwhile for someone. So, to recap, If you’ve already back Blocks on Kickstarter, then you can get extra credits by going here (my page) and that gets you credits which allows you to get extra modules (which is the main thing that you might be interested in if you’ve back Blocks on Kickstarter, right).
So, if you’ve already backed their kickstarter, then go here and do what it says. If you haven’t and were planning to back the kickstarter, then do that first, then go here. Make sense?

This was a truly lovely gig last night at the Albany, which is, in my opinion, a great venue. Lizzie was awesome, and the support (who’s name I sadly didn’t catch) was totally amazing. The clicking song was out of this world!
I am just so glad that I went along, and I’m so glad to be a part of Heart n Soul.
