This has only got a few more days left to go on Kickstarter. If you’ve already back Blocks on Kickstarter, then you can get extra credits by going here (my page) and that gets you credits which allows you to get extra modules (which is the main thing right).
I actually thought this was a brilliant little story. Really good fun, very well written and well performed, and thoroughly enjoyable. If they can keep this up throughout the whole series. If they can it’ll be amazing.
I was thinking about this a bit more the other day, and really I’d like to see the ability to prototype directly in the app. That would, without a doubt, be the coolest thing possible to do with this app. It would be nice to play with a set up and be able to create stuff in the app that used not only the bits you owned, but others, and even prototype bits, or bits on the bitlab too.
That would be my preferred experience.
So just a few first impressions really, after only listening through once.
Firstly, I loved it. It was very story focused. It was funny, and sad, and poignant, and beautiful. I really enjoyed listening to it a lot.
So I’m expecting to really enjoy it on all the subsequent listens too.
I mentioned this before, but I’m going to keep on throughout their Kickstarter campaign just in case it’s worthwhile for someone. If you’ve already back Blocks on Kickstarter, then you can get extra credits by going here (my page) and that gets you credits which allows you to get extra modules (which is the main thing right).
Another problematic album to listen to, but it’s actually very good when you give it a chance and listen to it with focus and care it is well worth it. There’s a huge amount of depth and beauty in these songs. There’s always something new to find in each one, but it does require patience and that’s not always easy. Neither are these pieces, but just because they’re not easy does not mean that they’re not good. They are.
I got this on Kickstarter. Handy little thing it is too.
