So far I’ve decided to keep it there, at least for now anyway. So if you’re interested you can still find it here.

Laurie Anderson Wise Women on BBC Radio 6 Music
I’ve been listening to this show on and off since it was broadcast on Christmas day last year and it really is worth listening to. Not only are there some very interesting pieces that she’s included, but it gives you a rare insight into what sorts of music Laurie Anderson finds moving.
It’s easy enough to find on iPlayer Radio if you’re interested.
True Grit: The Book

I’ve been meaning to get hold of the book of True Grit and now I’ve got it. I picked up a copy on eBay very cheaply indeed. My only issue with the book is that the cover is of the newer version of the film and not the original, which I would’ve preferred. It’s not a big thing, but it’s just there.
Say hello to the all new PalmSounds
If you don’t follow PalmSounds then you probably don’t know that I’ve been tinkering with it and I’ve now moved it over to WordPress. It’ll take a little while to get all sorted, there’s still a fair amount to do, but it’s a good start and it’s going to be much better once it’s fully up and running.
You know you can follow this blog by email right?
Just thought I’d mention once more that you can follow along by email if you choose to, or if that suits how you like your information delivered. You can find the ‘follow by email’ thingy on the right hand sound bar.
Just thought I’d mention it anyway.
If you’re interested, here’s me on Instagram
Just thought I’d mention that I’m on Instagram in case you weren’t aware. I post a fairly diverse range of images there, from PDA stuff, to mobile music, to general stuff. I guess, a bit like here. Anyway, I thought I’d let you know.
Did you know that there’s an RSS feed for the site?
You can find it down on the right hand side in the sidebar. Feel free to use this if you like RSS stuff.
Just thought I’d mention it in case you were interested.

Somethings from a mill?

Another early picture, and another one from the Isle of Wight, Calbourne Mill to be precise. I’m not sure what these were for. Some kind of sifting things, but I don’t know the real name. I liked the position of them more than anything, and I still do. The picture quality is very poor though. I know that. Even so, I still like it.
The lovely Mute Synth II

I hadn’t played with this in a long time, which makes me sad. So I decided to get the MSII out again and give it a little play. It makes just as strange noises as it ever did, and is just as difficult to understand. So this time around I’m going to make a much more concerted effort to understand how to get it to do the things I want it to do.
That’s the plan anyway.
