I bought this album after reading an interview with the artist in The Wire. This seems to be quite a common occurrence these days. Anyway, the piece was really interesting so I decided to have a listen to the album, and it’s pretty good actually. Not something that I’d have probably listened to without reading the interview about her.
It’s very atmospheric stuff. Alien and distant in a way. Unintelligible and strange. I like it.
