Wave is a very dark song from a very dark album on the whole, and whilst I like the way it slowly and fluidly plays itself out it can be difficult to listen to. Not because it isn’t melodic, but because it lacks a sense of joy in some ways.
Yes, I think that’s what’s missing from it.
