I’ve posted this at Palm Sounds as well, but I wanted to post it here too as it really was an interesting performance, and quite inspiring all round.
Turning a Mac Mini into a server
One of my next personal projects is to turn an old mac mini into a little server for playing about with. For the most part it doesn’t look to difficult to do, but it might be a fair useful thing to have around.
As yet I’m not completely sure what I’ll use it for, but it might come in handy for stuff and if nothing else it’ll be fun to tinker about with.
Today’s images
I tend to share everything via instagram these days, but I really liked these three so I thought I’d post them here are well.
Listening to Yukihiro Takahashi
I have two albums by Yukihiro Takahashi and I love them both. I listened to them again today for the first time in a long time and remembered just how wonderful they both were. Emotional, moving, fun electronica.
It doesn’t get much better than that.
More Back More Forward
I got some time today to move along my next set of tracks, or rather I should say, continue to experiment with the raw material and see where it takes me.
I’ve been using Jasuto Pro to manipulate samples through a gate and a variety of filters and effects which are triggered from a sequencer module. I’m quite pleased with the results actually. Although, I’m not sure quite where it’ll fit into the final piece.
Even so, it has been an enormous amount of fun so far to make.

A really good blog about beer
I thought I’d post a link to my friend Simon’s blog, which is all about beer. Excellent! You can read it here.
