Here’s something I’m doing for the SoundLab Play Space …
One of the things I’ve been making for the SoundLab Play Space is some stuff to connect conductive ink with a bunch of Ableton Live sets. These were my first prototype cards. They worked ok, but they need some tweaking. It helped me to understand how to adapt the code to start to get the effect I was after, but it wasn’t quite there as yet. The next iteration, the one I plan to use on the day, well, Wednesday, should be much better!
We’ll see.

The SoundLab Play Space is just a few days away
Only a few days left to get ready for the SoundLab play space next week. I’m looking forward to it, but there’s still a lot to do and prepare, and that’s what I’m trying to do today.
I hope it’s going to be an amazing event and that everyone who attends gets a real sense of the huge creative possibilities from it. That’s the plan anyway!
A listen to Cyberman Scorpius
This is quite an early Big Finish story that I bought a while ago to try out some of their earlier series, but I’m not sure I’ve ever listened to it actually. So it’s time to give it a listen, and see if this is going to be a good series to get into.
A lovely little Dexys Tribute
These guys were really tight. They did Dexy’s stuff really well and played an awesome gig. I really enjoyed it. A great night out and a lovely venue too. I’m not sure that I’ve been there before or not.
Anyway, I’d recommend this lot anyday.
Planning next year’s train trip
So, after last year’s interesting train trip in the north I’ve been talking to friends about a trip in 2016, which could mean Scotland! That could be nice.
