You might have heard of multi-tasking or even mono-tasking, but you may not have heard of zero-tasking. Zero-tasking is the art of being able to do nothing simultaneously. That is, at the same time as doing nothing at all.
I’m working very hard at becoming a grand master of zero-tasking, but it is a lot harder than you think. It’s so easy just to break off and do something. But you must resist!
I’m having one of those ‘where did the year go’ moments and just can’t believe that it’s December already. Of course I am in no way ready for Christmas, nothing new there at all.
That is to say that projects may commence at some point. It’s a step in the right direction I suppose. I probably need a few more bits and pieces sorted out before I can get going, so realistically, after Christmas.
At least, that’s the plan anyway.

I’ve just been reading about a terrible plan to bring Doctor Who to the big screen. Apparently the director of the last few Potter movies is planning to move the Doctor to Hollywood.
What a terrible idea, what a really awful idea. The only good thing that came out of the last attempt at taking Who to the US was that Paul McGann ended up doing the most excellent series of audio books for big finish as the 8th Doctor.
I have no hopes of this plan bringing anything good to the world of Doctor Who.
A glass of ale and a film beckons for this evening. Peaceful.
Interesting what things from the past rise to the surface from time to time. I’ve had these two badges for many years now and I can’t remember the last time I saw them.
They bring back lots of good memories.
The year is getting old and tired and in some ways I feel like that too like there’s just this stretch to get through to the end of the year and the Christmas break and new year.
It’s getting colder and my umbrella has seen action again. To the extent that it’s partly broken as well.
It’s winter and I don’t want it to be. Nothing I can do but look forward to holidays and a rest. I guess it isn’t too far but it does feel like a long wait at the moment.
Today was not a good day in the world of Palm Sounds. Lots of noise and people picking fights with each other just to make a point. I don’t know why. I don’t get it, but it makes me wonder about the future of Palm Sounds. It’s been going for over 5 and a half years now and perhaps it is time to call it a day, or maybe change it radically. I’m not sure as yet.
One thing I do know is that it is very important to follow the path that you want to take and not be distracted by all the people who just want you to do what they think is best. I need to decide what I want to do with the thing and if it is time for me to give it up or move on.
Time will tell.
I bought the latest copy of FM to read about their thoughts on the OP-1. Sadly, now I want one even more!
