Visiting Dante’s house

I found it really interesting to see Dante’s house. I more or less stumbled over it as I didn’t really know that you could visit it. Whilst it wasn’t amazing I’m glad I went to see it.

Visiting Kew

Hadn’t been here for years and years. It was good to go back again. Obviously it’s changed a great deal. I loved the tree top walk especially.

Just back from Edinburgh after a week at the festival. It was brilliant as always and I loved it. More on that soon, but I thought I’d post a nice shot of the city for now.

New friends and art at the weekend

Last Saturday was an awesome day for a wide variety of reasons. The company of Mr Miki Strange. It was great to meet him after all these years online and equally great to share two exhibitions I really wanted to see with him.

Miki has posted his views of the day here and here, and I don’t think I can put down my thoughts in a more concise manner than that to be honest.

Currywurst, Really?

I had no idea what this was until I tried it. Thanks to Sebastian from Audanika for treating me in Berlin station. Wouldn’t want to have left without trying it out!

The Barn Roastery, Berlin

I visited this coffee shop at the beginning of October in Berlin, and it was one of the most interesting Coffee experiences I’ve ever had. Yes the coffee took a long time coming, but it was really worth it, and quite different from other kinds of coffee. I wish they had one in London.
