someone who's doing some things
Music is a huge part of my life so it’s almost certain that this category will have a lot of stuff in it.
With some of the modules in my molecule synth there are multiple inputs but none of them are labelled, so I thought I’d label mine up to make it easier to use. This is actually twice as much fun as I get to use a label machine too.
The only downside is that I can’t get the code for the MIDI module to load. I’m sure it’ll get sorted soon enough though.
Something new from me …
Just a few shots of my new meeblip synth and trying it out in a variety of ways.
I listened to this on Spotify and was really impressed by how good it was. Very well produced synth pop music. In many ways what you’d expect from OMD. So I played it for a few days and now I’m starting to move on again. I’ve probably over listened to the Metroland remixes and had enough, for now anyway.
So i makes me wonder what is it that gets us to obsessively listen to something for a while, a few days usually in my case, and then move on. Of course, it could just be me, but I don’t think so. I do know that a few of my friends are like this too. It comes in cycles usually. I’ll listen to something intently for a while then put it down, then in a few months or years I’ll come back to it and rediscover just how good it is. I suppose that’s the thing with ‘pop’ music isn’t it.

So, here are a few photos from my little adventure on the MS Stubnitz. The event? The Music Hack Ship. It was an excellent day out. You’ll be hearing more about it soon enough.
It’s just one of those subjects that’s been there in the back of my mind for a long time, and when I saw that SOS had a feature on modulars I knew I had to get a copy and see what they had to say.
After a quick glance it looks like it’s a good thorough piece, which is probably a bad thing in many ways as it’ll mean I more likely to get hooked.
