Blancmange last night
Another great Blancmange gig last night. I love that they just seem to enjoy themselves so much. I’ll post some pictures up tomorrow.

I’ve made one of these before, but I got given another kit at the talk I went to given by Technology Will Save Us. So I guess I’ll make this one and then maybe have a little lumiphone ensemble!
Not 1 but 4 new Palm OS apps to investigate
How’s that for a spot of luck. I was continuing to add sites to my Pearltrees collection on mobile music and stumbled over this site which has a bunch of .prc files available for free download.
I’ll be taking a look at all of them and posting some thoughts over the next few days. If you’re interested in taking a look the site is here.
Sunvox is awesome on the iPad 3
Returning to my iPad 3 and finding lots of apps that I really enjoyed again. Sunvox being a good example although I can’t wait to see the live recording and other stuff Alex has in store for version 1.7.

miniMusic’s NotePad app for the Palm OS. One of the first mobile music making apps I ever used. Still amazing, with their KriKit audio engine inside.
Lost Microbes …
I posted this picture on instagram yesterday. I was having a great time playing with Microbe on my old Treo 650. Then suddenly, all the files disappeared. Which was a bit of a shame as I hadn’t played any of them for ages, and one or two I thought were actually worth saving.
I’ve no idea if anything can be done to recover them, I guess I’ll have to have a nose around the old forum to see if there’s anything there that helps. If not, well, that’s a shame.
That was a good day
I found this badge in my coat pocket. It was from the Music 4.5 conference I was at and spoke at. I really enjoyed the event and there was a lot of very interesting information shared there, but I think most of all I enjoyed the people.
So it was good to remember the day when I pulled this out of my pocket and thought about some of the things I might do as a result.
