someone who's doing some things
In advance of next year’s new stories, Big Finish have given us this, which was nice. Only a short story, just an hour, but even so it’s nice to get another Blake’s 7 story before the end of this year. So I’m looking forward to hear it soon. Very soon!
This was a bit different from the normal shows I go along to. It was more like a slightly improvised version of the twilight zone. It wasn’t bad. Not entirely my cup of tea, but not bad all the same.
This was the last in the trilogy and was not only an incredible performance, but also a fantastic story in its own right and a great end to the trilogy itself. If you ever get a chance to see this trilogy I would strongly recommend it.
The very first Pertwee story, and it was a good one. This starts my collection of the 3rd Doctor stories. I plan to collect all of the Pertwee stories over time.
I was a fan of the series when it first came out and watch all of it I think. Towards the end I think it lost something, so I was really glad to hear that Big Finish were going to do something with it. I think it’ll improve with them.
So the first new episode is out, and I couldn’t help myself but get it.
I had this in an Italian restaurant in Edinburgh. It wasn’t bad at all.
And it looks really interesting and like a good update from 5.5. But before upgrading I have to ask myself if I’m actually going to make enough use of this update to make it worthwhile. So far I’m not doing anything really interesting with Reaktor so I’m sitting on the fence about getting the upgrade. There’s always the argument that actually the upgrade itself will make me make something interesting with it, but I’m even struggling to get myself to believe that!
I think I’ll leave it for a couple of months and see what I feel like then.
I do like dance although I seldom get the chance to see any, so this show looked like it might be worth seeing, and it was. I’m not sure that I understood it very well, but I did enjoy it.
I expect that I need to spend more time getting to understand modern dance before I can really get my head into it, but I doubt that’ll happen any time soon.
I expect that I’ll just dip my toe in the water every now and again like with this show.
This is one of those things that I’ve been meaning to see for ages. So when I discovered it was on Netflix that became a lot easier. So I thought I’d mention it in case you were thinking of seeing it too and didn’t know it was there.
When I’ve finally got around to watching it I’ll let you know what I think too.
I picked this re-issued version up 2nd hand. It’s ok, but I might get a better version one day. Of course the significant thing about this story is that it was the end of the line for one of the companions. If you don’t know which one I’m not going to tell you!
