Looking forward to playing with these.

Looking forward to getting to grips with some new bits

Doctor Who: White Ghosts
And then Dark Eyes 2 arrived
I only recently listened to the first Dark Eyes again and I loved it. I do find it interesting just how different the 4th and 8th Doctor stories are. So I’ve been waiting for Dark Eyes for some time now and here it is. Running at just over 5 hours of content which includes an hour and a quarter of behind the scenes stuff too.
It’ll be great to get into it. I’ll tell you how it goes.
More things going into my Windows Mobile machine
4th Doctor: The Energy of the Daleks
Another great story from the first series of fourth Doctor stories from Big Finish, and I can barely remember it from the first time around. I listened to it yesterday and it’s awesome. A classic Dalek romp.
I hadn’t realised that Leela had never done a Dalek story. In fact, the fourth doctor didn’t do many either. Primarily Genesis and Destiny of the Daleks. Neither of which contained Leela. So this story is very significant indeed.
Journey to the far side of the sun …
I remember this film although not very well, and as a big Gerry Anderson fan I thought I’d give it a try. It’s a very leisurely film with so many Gerry Anderson touches I almost thought I was watching UFO or Space 1999, and of course there’s nothing wrong with that at all.
Anyway, overall the film didn’t really live up to either my recollections or my expectations. There’s nothing wrong with it as film of its time, but it isn’t really a classic, not in my book anyway.
4th Doctor: Philip Hinchcliffe Presents
A big bunch of Launch Center Pro sample actions
I found these the other day when I was checking LCP’s twitter feed for useful things, and it is very handy indeed. Not just for the actual actions themselves, but for use as a starter to understand how to create your own from them. It’s always easier to do that with something to work from.
So if you want to use these you’ll need to from within mobile safari on your iOS device.
4th Doctor: The Renaissance Man
Today’s Doctor Who story was the second episode from the first series. A story called the renaissance man. I remember this, well, a bit anyway, but not in any detail, so it was wonderful to listen to it again today. It’s a completely awesome story. With a superb cast and what is in fact a very complex and deep plot.
It was like hearing the story for the first time. So tomorrow I’m on to the next story in season 1.
