A first go at a template for molecule synth

Slide4I’ve been meaning to get this sorted out for a while. I started it a few weeks ago and then started having much grander ideas about what to do next with it, but then decided that something was better than nothing so I thought I’d post this picture of what the template will look like before putting a PDF up somewhere.

My iOS App of the week is …

Pythonista. I’ve been using it to make little scripts to run from Launch Center Pro and it’s quite easy to use so far. I’m enjoying getting to understand how things work and learning about Python at the same time.

But by far the best thing about it is that I’m able to use it for something productive that makes daily tasks easier and that’s really worth doing. So, all in all a great app for automating stuff in iOS and for learning at the same time.

Getting Plastic Planet by the Modified Toy Orchestra

As a long time fan of The Modified Toy Orchestra I was delighted when their latest album came out and I ordered it a few weeks ago. It seemed to take a while to arrive, then, a couple of days ago, a package turned up.

Not only did it contain the album, a CD in something like a children’s book package, which is an amazing design by the way, but also it contained the following

I was amazed to say the least. I’d have been happy with a note of apology on it’s own, but this was completely unexpected, and, lovely too.

If that wasn’t enough, Plastic Planet is a joy to listen to as well. I’d recommend it.

The Vinyl dilemma …

I was lucky enough to get hold of one of the few copies of the last John Foxx 12″ single containing two remixes of Underpass. I have to say that these remixes are absolutely brilliant. I love them. However, it leaves me with a dilema. I love the 12″. I love the music, but, I can only play it on my turntable. I have no digital copy at all. I’d like to listen to these tracks on my iPhone and elsewhere, but I don’t want to take a digital copy really.

It’s a dilemma.
