A bit of a shift around

I’ve been doing a little housekeeping or re-organising to be more precise. Trying to make things look better and make more sense in terms of layout. So if things appear to be moving strangely or aren’t where you expect them to be now you know the reason why.

Also waiting for Fennesz

The next Fennesz / Sakamoto album is due on Monday and I’m really looking forward to that too. I loved their last release and from listening to the previews on iTunes it sounds just as good. Very peaceful, very restful. Yes please. Bring it on.

Waiting for Serpent Crest

I’m hopeful that the next 2 episodes of Serpent Crest will get released in the next few days. It would follow the same as the last stories, both of which I really enjoyed, and it would be great to listen to them before the end of the year and before I get into the 4 seasons of Big Finish stories that I’m hoping to get.

Blancmange at Bush Hall

I went to see Blancmange at Bush Hall on Wednesday. What a great gig. What a great band. Some of the old stuff, a lot of the new. I really enjoyed it.

I’m not sure I’ll get to another gig before the end of the year, so it was a good way to end the year in live music terms.

I went to Bush hall last night and apart from it being a great gig (more of that another time) I loved the building, so here are a couple of shots of the ceiling. It was a great little venue.

Codify becomes Codea

This is an interesting app and has started up my interest in on-board apps for programming again. Of course iOS apps that are programming apps can’t write actual apps themselves just run their code inside the app. Even so, they are fun to play with and Codea which was called Codify seems particularly interesting.

So I’m going to give it a go again, and see if I can make anything good with it. If I do, I’ll publish the results.
