It was a great story and I really enjoyed it. fantastic stuff. I’m so looking forward to the new Big Finish seasons that come out in January. The sooner the better in fact, although I hope that I do hope that there’s another one of these 5 part stories again at some point.

The Station in the morning
Serpent Crest 4 and 5
Finally the last two episodes of Serpent Crest are out. I’ve been listening to them today and so far I’ve really enjoyed them. I won’t give away the story, but it’s a good one and I’ve no idea how it’s going to end, which is fun.
I’m looking forward to finishing this story off, and then getting to the next 4 seasons of 4th Doctor in Jan. Excellent stuff!
Android on my 3G and emulation
I was thinking about getting Android going on my old 3G and even running StyleTap the palm OS emulator for jailbroken iPhones. Then I realised that I’d done exactly the same thing this time last year and had tried all of the above.
So maybe I shouldn’t bother trying it all over again. But then again maybe I will.
Trains, walking home and Christmas decorations
Yesterday the train services were messed up, and for a very sad reason, but I won’t go into that. But because of that I had to walk home part of the way, which was actually quite nice. It’s funny walking around places that you normally drive through. It changes the way you look at the area and you notice things in a completely different way.
Whilst I was walking back I noticed people’s Christmas decorations, or lack of them. It was interesting to see the two extremes. Some people had really gone for it and done a fine job (or not so fine in some cases). It seemed to me that some houses had been decorated very tastefully and some not so tastefully, but there were lots of houses with no decorations.
I lost the word capricious
For at least two weeks now I’ve been trying to think of this word. I couldn’t remember is at all. It was lost. To me anyway. I kept thinking of the word mercurial. But it isn’t the same. Not at all.
So now I’ve been reunited with the word capricious again. And what a lovely word it is.
Everything is a platform
I seem to have been having this conversation with loads of people over the week or so. These days it appears that you can’t do anything without it being a platform. Whether it’s music related or IT related no one just wants a system anymore, it has to be a platform!
I do understand the reasoning behind it and the business logic, but it also seems somewhat trend based, which makes me wonder what will come after the platform? What new thing will replace or subsume it.
I don’t have the answer. If I did I’d be a rich guy. That’s for sure!
Forbidden Planet
I’d forgotten just how much I enjoy the forbidden planet soundtrack. It was so far ahead of it’s time. I think that everyone should watch the film and listen to the music. Not that it would engage everyone I know. Still, I love it.
Starting up some data
I’ve just posted this little graph which will show my total tweets and when they come in over the space of 1 day. I thought it would be fun, and it’s my first venture into the world of pachube which I hope to use a lot more of soon.
Pictures of CDR-Knowledge Event
A couple of pictures of the event. I put up a few more at PalmSounds and I expect there’ll be a video from CDR soon.
