It’s here and I can’t wait to get going with all of this.
Having got a taste for this kind of thing from using my Shruthi-1 I’m now considering getting a meeblip, which looks like a lot of fun too. Initially I was looking at the meeblip micro, but as it’s out of stock for now I’ve moved on to the meeblip SE.
I even checked if there was a TouchOSC template available for meeblip. There is! So if I can control it using TouchOSC I can do a lot with it.
I may have talked myself around.
I’ve posted this elsewhere but thought I’d get the maximum value out of it by posting it here too. It’s fun experimenting with old and new tech all in one go.

Sample sounds from an Arduino with no additional hardware running the Mozzi library.
I’ve been spending some time with the Mozzi synthesis library for Arduino, and it really is amazing! I had no idea that the arduino could do that kind of synthesis so well. I’m really impressed with it and now I’ve got loads of ideas for how to put it into practice.
I was able to go along to a workshop held by Technology will save us. A great little tech company with a fantastic ethos. The workshop was at Rough Trade East and was all about making a DIY synth. Something very close to my heart. Sadly, some of the components used in the kits didn’t work at all and so the whole thing ground to a halt about halfway through.
It was a real shame actually as it had all been making a lot of sense up to that point, and so I felt really quite disappointed by the event. I know that they’ll figure out a way of sorting things out, but it wasn’t a great experience sadly, especially as I’d been looking forward to it so much.
A really nice example of the Mutable Instruments Shruthi-1 in steam punk style. Sounds awesome too!
I posted this over at Palm Sounds as well this morning, but I wanted to put it here as well.
My new Monotron cases arrived and they’re lovely. I always like cases for things, especially little cases and it doesn’t get much littler than a monotron really.
Another app from the incredible Strange Agency. I’ve only had a brief amount of time to play with it, and it is fun so far, but not as initially impressive as MegaCurtis was when I first got that.
And, for the record. My favourite app from them is still Donut. Hands down.
