I was really pleased to hear that Big Finish were bringing back the 10th Doctor, and now they’ve set the date, and it’s soon! The first episode is coming on the 16th of May! Which is brilliant. I’m really looking forward to it.

What’s not to like right? It is my favourite genre of fiction by a long way indeed.
Dr Who, Legacy of Death
Who could resist a master trilogy then?

Yes, pun intended in the title. But I mean, who could resist? This is the first part of a 3 part story covering both masters (within the big finish universe) and engaging three doctors (5,6, and 7). I’ve been enjoying the 5th doctor stories for while now so I’m intrigued to see what the story is like and how it unfolds over three episodes.
And I picked up this the other day too

I’d been thinking about getting this book for a while now, so when I was in a book shop (not a common thing these days) I picked up this and ‘Leviathan Wakes’ at the same time. I haven’t started this, but I’m very curious to find out what it’s like. When I do I’ll tell you.
And this one was pretty good too
So now I’m reading this, and it’s pretty good actually

This was a recommendation from Marc at Disquiet so I thought I’d check it out. I picked up a copy and started reading it just the other day. It’s actually really good and I’m really getting into it. I can see myself getting through the whole series in the not too distant future too.

Goodbye Admiral Ackbar
Well it really is sad to hear that Erik Bauersfeld has passed away at the great age of 93. That’s impressive. He’s responsible for delivering my favourite line in Star Wars “It’s a trap!”. I always thought that Admiral Ackbar was a great character, not just for that line of course.
So goodbye Admiral, and goodbye Erik. You will be missed.
