I’ve talked about Heart n Soul a plenty here. These are some pictures from our last event at the end of July. It was awesome. A huge amount of fun.

Lizzie Emeh at the Albany last night

This was a truly lovely gig last night at the Albany, which is, in my opinion, a great venue. Lizzie was awesome, and the support (who’s name I sadly didn’t catch) was totally amazing. The clicking song was out of this world!
I am just so glad that I went along, and I’m so glad to be a part of Heart n Soul.
The SoundLab Play Space is coming …

I’ve been working on this event for a while now and I think it’ll be completely amazing, or at least I hope so anyway. It’s starting to shape up now and really come together.
If you’re interested in attending or being a part of it in some way, then take a look at this page on the SoundLab web site.
A little film about the Beautiful Octopus Club this year
And then I had wings!
And that was the Beautiful Octopus Club 2015

This was the third time I’ve done SoundLab at the Beautiful Octopus Club. It’s a fantastic event, and if you’ve never been I strongly encourage you to go next year. You’ll love it. It’s awesome.
Once again SoundLab was well received even though we were much smaller than last year and occupied our usual space just behind the shop in the RFH. Of course, we had a great time and everyone who visited seemed to really enjoy themselves. I think that the only downside of being a part of SoundLab for the BOC is that you don’t get the opportunity to see the rest of the event. BOC has so much to offer and for three years I’ve only seen my little bit of it. Which is a shame. So next year I’m considering just turning up to watch and participate.
Let’s see if I can manage that!

Less than a month to BOC!
SoundLab and Heart n Soul on the British Council site
It was great to see this on the British Council web site just before Christmas. A really good endorsement of the superb work that Heart n Soul do.
