I’ve been a Doctor Who fan as long as I can remember
A listen to Cyberman Scorpius
This is quite an early Big Finish story that I bought a while ago to try out some of their earlier series, but I’m not sure I’ve ever listened to it actually. So it’s time to give it a listen, and see if this is going to be a good series to get into.
UNIT Extinction Covers

UNIT has arrived
I checked back earlier on to see when this was first announced, and it was back in Feb this year, so I’ve been waiting for this a long time. I expect that I’m not the only one by a long way.
I’m so glad that Big Finish have brought back UNIT and given it a new lease of life. I’m really looking forward to it and I have high expectations to say the least. I hope that they’re met.
Anyway, I’m off to buy it now. As always, I’ll let you know what I think of it.
Awesome news! The Tenth Doctor and Donna return with Big Finish
This really is excellent. There was a rumour that this was coming and I really hoped it would, and it has. It’s a long time to wait, the first volume is out in May next year, but at least it’s coming, and, if it’s volume 1 in May, then there’s sure to be a volume 2 not too far behind!
Listening to the Doom Coalition 1
Quite enjoying the Doom Coalition first box set so far. It’s pretty good. Sort of a bit of a follow on from Dark Eyes in a way, not that I actually listened to all of them only the first two. Although, now I actually would quite like to get the rest of the Dark Eyes stories.
Anyway, I think Doom Coalition is going to be a good series if the first box set is anything to go by.

Big Finish’s ‘The Doom Coalition’ due tomorrow …
I have to say that Big Finish have got a fantastic line up for the next few months. Tomorrow ‘The Doom Coalition’ comes out, then between now and the end of the year they’ve got:
- The War Doctor
- A new UNIT series
- The next episode of Survivors
- The Time War (a prequel to the War Doctor)
- and let’s not forget, Torchwood episodes too
So loads to look forward to, and I am.
Doctor Who Unbound – Masters of War
Another story I picked up with the Davros stories were going cheap and this was pretty good actually. First off, this is David Warner as Doctor Who! How amazing is that! Secondly, Nicholas Courtney is wonderful. He’s sadly missed.
The story itself isn’t bad. It’s ok. Worth a listen. I’ve never listened to any of the unbound collection before, and so I might dip my toe a bit more after this.
