Doctor Who: Myths and Legends

A great box set of Who stories which is rounding off my collection of Tom Baker’s 4th Doctor stories.

Another Tom Baker story. Quite a good one too. I enjoyed it, and I’m not sure that I’d seen it before either.

Doctor Who: The Horns of Nimon

I hadn’t seen this story for a long time, and I’d forgotten that Janet Ellis (of Bluepeter) was in it too. As 4th doctor stories go it wasn’t amazing, but I’m glad to see it again nevertheless. I got it as part of the ‘Myths and Legends’ box set.

Radio Times Doctor Who collectors postcards

I was lucky enough to get all of these when they came out. I’m not sure I’d call them ‘collector’s editions’, but they’re ok. A couple of them are superb pictures, the rest, not so much.

Doctor Who: Sands of Life

It’s still a little strange to listen to Mary Tamm’s voice, but this is another excellent fourth doctor story, and it has a truly awesome cast as well. David Warner, and Hayley Atwell, as well as Toby Hadoke who I saw in Edinburgh last year with his one man show.

I was really looking forward to this box set from the 8th Doctor, and it was well worth the wait in the end. A great story and a bit of a change for Paul McGann’s Doctor too. I enjoyed it.

I’m hoping that there’ll be some more 8th Doctor stories in the not too distant future.

Doctor Who and the invasion of the dinosaurs

I only got this because it was part of a boxed set with the Android Invasion. The special effects are very far from special, but the story was excellent. Sadly it makes me wonder about collecting Jon Pertwee stories now!
