I was going to delete this little drum machine but decided to give it a quick play first, and I really liked it, so it stays on the music 3G for now, along with the other 300 odd music apps on there, which is almost certainly too many!
Tag: Apps
Everything is about apps at the moment. A lot of what I mention under the apps tag is around iOS and mobile music, but there’s other stuff too, and not just iOS, but Android, Palm OS and Windows mobile.
Noisemusick
Propellerheads – Figure
App revisit: Electron
I was about to delete this from my 3G, then I gave it a little play and found that actually it’s quite useful in fact. Not a bad little sequencer.
Older RJDJ Scenes
I’m still a big fan of RJDJ. I always will be. When they first came around into the iOS scene (before it was iOS of course) they were one of the most, if not the most innovative creators of music making software. And, they still are.
But I continue to enjoy some of the things they did from day 1 as well though, and some of these older scenes are still brilliant for reacting to your environment.
First impressions of the Figure iOS app from Propellerheads
I probably have to say to start with that for £0.69 this is pretty good value. It sounds lovely, it is very playable and has a very good interface, especially for non-musical types. Having said that, I can’t find a save function as yet, if indeed there is one that is.
Still, I’m sure they’ll continue to improve on it.
T3 Goodness still running
My T3 powered up again after a very long gap, and once I’d restored it from back up (it doesn’t have persistent memory), it was fine. Just like the last time I used it. Amazing what you can squeeze into just 64mb of memory.
