I watched this just a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it, so it was quite funny to meet the chap who was the art director for it just the other day in the pub and have a long chat with him. He’s a really nice guy.

I haven’t used this app / service in ages now and then I noticed it again yesterday and thought that I should take a look again.
It seems that Audioboo has come on quite a way since I last used it and it could be quite a convenient way of making and sharing interesting recordings. I think I’ll need to spend a bit of time getting used to it again and see if it fits the bill.
Oh yes, there is more snow
Of course. What else would you expect but more snow! It spoiled a lot of plans for today, but then I’m sure I’m not alone in that.

I just watched this on BBC and it was great. Are there any more coming or was it a one off? I’ve never read the books so I don’t know if it was a good adaptation, but even if it wasn’t I thought it was really funny.
I do hope there’s more where that came from.

Ending in the word ‘git’
I finished listening to Alexei Sayle’s book “Stalin ate my homework”. I have to say I really liked it. It was at times funny, sad, thought provoking and insightful.
It is one of those books you wish there was more of when you get to the end of it. Even so it was a good place to stop. I especially liked that he read it himself. That added a great deal to the listening experience.
I think that some of it will stick in my mind for quite some time to come although my own childhood was nothing like his, but even so, there are things that resonated with me.
It was, it is, a great book.
2 Weeks
Yep, that’s not long to go until Christmas arrives and then all the excitement is over again for another year.
As you’re asking, yes, I did see the Human League last night
I wasn’t sure what to expect from this gig, but in the end it was good. I thought they’d only play newer stuff, but we got version of ‘Being Boiled’, and ‘Empire State Human’ too which was great. Nothing from Travelogue though which was a shame.
They played all the tracks you’d expect them too and a few that I didn’t expect like ‘The Lebanon’ and ‘Seconds’ which was great to hear live. It was quite a short gig though at only an hour a quarter.
I’m glad that I went to see them, it was a good show and I thought that they played well.
Lunch at the V&A
What a great place to have a peaceful lunchtime, and what a wonderful place. I miss spending time here.
Snow dementor
Whilst our snowman is still standing he looks more like a snow demontor now. I wonder how much longer he will last?
