someone who's doing some things
I’m really loving experimenting with the Fossil. It’s a great old smartwatch from before we called things smartwatches and before we knew what a wearable was. Hopefully in the not too distant future I’ll have some apps for it too.
I actually preferred their less popular single “Silver Mac” which was a lot slower and more thoughtful than this track. Even so this is good and fun and a nice reminder of the 80’s too.
I only say this movie last night but I have to say that I enjoyed it so much. Don’t worry, there wont’ be any spoilers here!
It was a great story, really good. I was very impressed by the whole thing. It was excellent. I have to say that I’ll probably go and see it again I expect. If you’re a Star Trek fan then you’re in for a real treat. I think that this one might be the best of the three so far.
I’ve just finished watching what was the final iteration of Star Trek, “Enterprise”. Of course “Enterprise” was set before the original series of Star Trek, but was the last to be made. Having watched it I’ve now started watched the original series from the start as it’s just turned up on netflix. In fact, it isn’t the only Star Trek series that’s arrived on netflix. In fact they’ve now got the original series, TNG, DS9 and Voyager too. So I now have a unique opportunity, I can watch every episode in strict chronological order.
And that’s what I plan to do now. I’ll be going through the lot!
I’m really looking forward to listening to this as it brings back a character from one of the previous seasons of the fourth doctor, played by David Warner. His was a really good character, and he appeared in two episodes. I’m glad that he’s back in this story, as not only is it a good character, but played by David Warner makes it a great listen.
I’ll let you know when I’ve heard it.
Another great Dexys 7″, but this one I got because of the TV show it was made for. I used to really like that show, it was fun, and this was so cheap that I had to buy it just to remind me of it.
A 1978 copy of this! I had to pick it up really, and it was really cheap too. A bargain, and a great song too.
This is one of my all time favourite Tom Robinson tracks. It really is excellent. I’d more or less forgotten the song, so when I stumbled over it I was really pleased. Now that I have the 7″ I thought I’d find a digital version too. Could I find it anywhere? No, not anywhere at all! What’s that about?
I tried to find it on CD and those are hard to come by too. I’ll keep searching.
I’ve liked bits and pieces of YMO for years, but I’ve more enjoyed the work of the individual members of YMO more. So I thought I’d pick this up and see what it was like. Another good find at my local second hand record store.
As I have a VL-1 and as I’ve even gone as far as releasing my own VL-1 bot I just had to pick this up really. I didn’t have the vinyl version before this, but now I have!
