Another routine stop in the summer schedule. The GBBF is a must every year, and always has plenty to enjoy. From some excellent food and music, to beer, and more beer, and then some more beer!
You might see a pattern emerging here …

There are various regular things I do over the summer, and by the end of it I usually have a bunch of programmes, catalogues and the like left over. Here’s the first of the summer, the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
This year it was ok, not amazing, but ok. There were one or two things I really liked, and I’m glad I went, it’s a tradition really.
Over the weekend I’ve been trying to get my installation of Processing for Android up to date to start getting a few things built. Sounds simple enough right? Wrong! It has been taking me ages to get this stuff to work. I’ve no idea why either.
I was hoping to actually get things working on Saturday so I could spend some time trying out some ideas on Sunday. No chance though.
In January next year! And Big finish have the titles of some of the stories. You can find them at the pre-order page here.
So now I’m seriously thinking about ordering the lot.
I’ve just watched the latest episode of Touchwood Miracle Day, and I have to say that I’m disappointed so far. The basic concept behind the story is excellent, but there are so many plot lines and threads that I have no idea how this is going to turn out.
One thing I do worry about is that it’ll be as big a disappointment as Children of Earth was. That was a great story and a terrible ending.
