You’d only find this little installation if you happen to need to go to the toilet at the right part of the science museum. It gets activated if you walk through a ‘sound curtain’ and then plays you some very strange noises.

Science Museum
I love the science museum. It’s a great place to spend the day. In fact, an excellent place to spend the day. I love this huge message board which runs comments around a massive grid. What a great idea.
Inside the Tiny Tea Tent
The Tiny Tea tent is a favourite place during WOMAD. Their Apple and Cinamon drink thing is fantastic and it is always a great place to hang out.
I didn’t get to spend much time there on Saturday, but it was good to visit anyhow.
At night, in the forest
At the weekend I spent the late evenings in the dark, or almost dark, with nothing but a couple of candles and my iPad. That’s one of the things I love about mobile music. Being able to sit out in a forest in the dark and make music.
Some nature
I was away in Savernake Forest at the weekend. It was lovely weather and a beautiful site, so I took some pictures which I’ll be posting over the next few days.
Bluebell
A nice day out at the Bluebell railway. Just a great place to enjoy a bank holiday.
Visit to Sheffield Park
Went to Sheffield Park yesterday. Weather was glorious as was the park. Here are a few photos.
Pictures from the Horniman
At the Horniman today. It is still one of my favourite places. Today I visited the ‘Bali: Dancing for the Gods’ exhibition, which was excellent.
Hope and Greenwood: Probably the best sweet shop ever
I was in London today at the Royal Opera House and noticed that there was a Hope and Greenwood’s just around the corner.
Hope and Greenwood’s are probably the best old fashioned sweet shops ever. You can still by things by imperial measure and get bags of sweets made up. I’ve been to their shop near Forest Hill many times on trips to the Horniman Museum (I’ve mentioned the place many times), but I’ve never been to their central London shop.
It isn’t much bigger, but it is just as wondrous. The staff are wonderful and the range of confectionery is superb.
If you ever get a chance to visit one of their shops then you must, absolutely you must.
Lunch at the V&A
What a great place to have a peaceful lunchtime, and what a wonderful place. I miss spending time here.
