First step with the molecule synth
Finally got the batteries and got the thing set up. This was the first noise.
First ‘patch’ with molecule synth
Starting to try this out with something simple. The analogue into the speaker module controlled by the pressure sensor. Let’s see how it goes.
I don’t know if ‘patch’ is the right word for this though?
And a little music store too!

Channel Light Vessel
As a big Bill Nelson fan I felt that I had to try this stuff out. It isn’t bad at all really. In fact I’ve just bought another disc from Channel Light Vessel.

Although I do find that the number of iterations of Mr Sylvian’s work can seem to grow and grow, I have to say that this one is quite good. Very textural and restful. I’ve really enjoyed it.
Considering a meeblip
Having got a taste for this kind of thing from using my Shruthi-1 I’m now considering getting a meeblip, which looks like a lot of fun too. Initially I was looking at the meeblip micro, but as it’s out of stock for now I’ve moved on to the meeblip SE.
I even checked if there was a TouchOSC template available for meeblip. There is! So if I can control it using TouchOSC I can do a lot with it.
I may have talked myself around.
SpinPad controlling Shruthi-1
Another little video that’s been posted elsewhere I know, but it’s here too now, and I’ve been enjoying my Palm PDA renaissance of late, especially the whole controller experience. There’s more to come too.
Shruthi-1 Template nearing completion
This is where I’ve got to with my Shruthi-1 template in TouchOSC. It’s really coming along, and I hope to be able to start testing it very soon. Of course, as you make these things more and more ideas come to you, which isn’t much help in actually finishing anything off.
