I just had to get this limited edition 7″. It was too awesome to miss.

Music is a huge part of my life so it’s almost certain that this category will have a lot of stuff in it.
Using GMS (Genome MIDI Sequencer) to drive a littleBits synth using the new MIDI bit.
Made using NanoStudio, AudioShare, and Final Touch on my iPad Mini.
Which is great. I think I need to hear it again and reacquaint myself with it. I hope it does well for Blancmange, and I really hope that they bring some new music out in 2016. I’ve really enjoyed the new stuff and how they’ve revisited their original material too.
Anyway, let’s add it to a playlist on Spotify then.
I checked this morning and my Spotify Discover playlist is back! Another 30 tracks for this week.
I’m looking forward to hearing it. I actually missed it quite a bit.
I’ve been really enjoying Spotify’s ‘discover weekly’ playlist, until that is, this week, when it has completely failed to arrive. My last playlist was dated the 14th and since then I’ve had nothing new! It’s amazing how easy it is to get used to things, and I’ve really got used to this playlist being refreshed every week. So, not getting it this week has been annoying. Almost an inconvenience!
I hope that they get it sorted out soon!
It was quite interesting actually. I filled a lot of gaps in my knowledge about modulars. However, it still hasn’t made me really want one. I can understand the ideas behind them and I can understand why they are popular, but I still don’t want to commit to getting one. Perhaps it’s because I’ve never actually got my hands on one so I’m not hooked as yet. Who knows.
Still, it was interesting to watch and hear some of the views of a few artists I really respect.

This was a must for me at Edinburgh this year. Of course, with a show like this you never quite know what you’re going to get before you get there. It’s a gamble, like most of the Fringe, but even more so when you’re a big fan of something like The Blues Brothers.
But it was very good. Very good indeed. They did all the major songs and more. The routines were very good, Jake was especially convincing and all in all it was a good gig.
I think I should go to a few more Blues Brothers tribute bands.
