I’m a big fan of mobile applications. It started with the Palm OS and Windows Mobile, and has continued with iOS and Android. Who knows where mobile apps will go to next, it’s a journey, and an interesting one at that. If you don’t use Bhajis Loops then please ignore this. For a long time I’ve had these two additional Bhajis Loops effects plug ins which I think are the only two ever made which weren’t created by Olivier. Anyway, the site they were on has gone now, but I thought I’d make them available for anyone who is using Bhajis Loops still.

I’ve been playing with this new app from The Strange Agency and already I love it, especially the session recording. It’s excellent.
Another excellent and experimental application for making strange music, which is of course what I love to do. The app is from Nick Collins who’s made some excellent apps for iOS.
Another more experimental app that I like to mess around with, and was doing so over a coffee recently. I do love the strange agency’s work it is so interesting and creative. They always have excellent ideas.
I found this from one of the very early posts on Palm Sounds and after a bit of searching around I found a PRC file for it (that’s a Palm OS executable file). So I’m going to give it a go and see what can be done with it. That’s if it works at all.
It was a bit of a surprise to see this go universal, but I’m pretty sure it was on the cards. Anyway, it’s great to have it on the iPhone at last, as now I can make some islands on the go at last.
I’ve posted about the wonderful iOS tools from the Strange Agency before, so I was really pleased to see that they have another, or possibly an update on the way.
The refer to it as ‘MegaCurtis’, and it looks amazing, very much building on Curtis for the iPhone and the iPad version too. In some ways I’m hoping that it is a new app and not an update as I like the existing one and would almost just like to have a new one to compliment it, but irrespective I’m looking forward to it, for more strangeness and experimentation. Here we go.
More time spent with PixiTracker, what a great idea. I remember it the original running on Palm OS and Windows Mobile. With that you had to run it as a file in PixiLang, but that’s another story altogether.
Really enjoyed playing around with this app yesterday. It has a great feel to it and I think that with some practice I might even get reasonable at making tracks with this app.
