It’s a kit for making a nice little model. I think I might have first seen it in Electronic Sound magazine and thought it would be a nice thing to have. Anyway, I\m sure I’ll get around to making it soon enough. When I do I’ll post a few pictures.

I mentioned the V&A Museum of Childhood the other day and when I saw these it reminded me of some of the things I saw there. Nice that they’re being remembered in stamps.

Had this on a recent pub crawl. Even though it has a very cheesy name it’s actually very good indeed. I quite liked it.
The constant search for a decent Android device
Ever since the last Apple event I’ve been thinking more and more about going to Android. I’m not thinking that I’d replace my iPad, more just the more non-musical apps on my phone. But for the life of me I can’t work out what device I need or what would be useful.
To be fair I’ve got a reasonable amount of time before I need to make a decision about this, so it isn’t a big problem, but I don’t really know where to start in order to work out what would be a good device.
The Expanse Season 2
I watched season one after reading the first book, Leviathan Wakes, which I really enjoyed. The TV series is no way as good as the books, and I think the TV show doesn’t do the best job of making sense of what isn’t a terribly complex story. I’m much more at home with the books now.
Season 2 was ok. Not amazing again, but certainly in keeping with the first season. Apparently season 3 is already being filmed, which is a good thing I believe. I’ll certainly watch it.
So I’m at CDM now
I’ve been meaning to mention this and just haven’t gotten around to it as yet, at least not here anyway. So, PalmSounds is kind of on hold as I’ve moved writing my mobile content to CDM now. I think it’s a good move. It means that mobile music content will hopefully get a much bigger audience, and as things move and converge I believe CDM will be a better place to see that through.
The V&A Museum of Childhood
Only the second time I’ve visited this museum, and this time I had a lot more time. It’s such a lovely place. So much there, and so many things that bring back memories of when I was a child.
If you haven’t ever visited it’s well worth it. There’s loads to see even though it’s a really small place. I’m sure I’ll be back there again in the not too distant future.

Well it was a must really. I try to go every year anyway, but this year, as it was the 40th anniversary. I had to go. No choices at all.
It was a good beer festival too. I tend to go now on the opening night. It’s not as busy as the Friday, there’s more and if not all beers then almost all are available. I especially liked the glass this year, which I managed to get home in one piece, which was excellent.
