Month: August 2014
Looking forward to giving this a real play …
A little bit more bleepDrum
Some more noodling with the bleepDrum.
More Patch Morpher with iRig MIDI 2 and Shruthi-1
Really loving the iRig MIDI 2
Tascam 424 Mk III
This really is an awesome piece of hardware and something I love especially as it’s 100% tape based. I have to thank my good friend Miki Strange for this as he kindly gifted it to me last year. It’s more than just an awesome gift though. It’s a piece of art in itself, and also a brilliant piece of technology for making art as well. It’s going to be an amazing addition to my music making.
Thanks Miki.
Using iRig MIDI to send Patches to my Shruthi 1
I’ve been trying out the iRig MIDI 2 and one thing I’ve been meaning to do for a long time is experiment with Patch Morpher. It works really well, and, as expected, the iRig MIDI 2 just works seamlessly.
The Radiophonic Workshop at the Bowers and Wilkins Society of Sound stage at WOMAD
Next month is the Beautiful Octopus Club
You probably remember that I’ve been working on a project called SoundLab. Well we’ve got a great event coming up in September at the Royal Festival Hall. You might remember that I was involved last year in something similar, well this year I’m hoping it’s going to be even better than last year and it’ll have some amazing stuff.
So, if you’re in London on the 6th and you can make it to the Festival Hall, come along and be ready for some amazing music tech. You can find out more about the event here.
Oh look, I was on Campaign …
I hadn’t realised that this had actually been published, but it seems that it has. Which was nice.
