Somehow I never got around to listening to this story, so it’s about time I put that right, and once I’ve done that I’ll need to decide if it’s time to get some more in this series.
Something new to listen to from Big Finish … I always do like a good Zygon story too.
I am a big fan of audio books. As I spend a reasonable amount of my time on public transport I find them a great way to enjoy a story or even learn something. But listening to stories is my favourite, and as I’d enjoyed the film so much I thought I’d give this audio book a go. It’s straight from the film rather than being the book from which the film was adapted, so it is very close to what happens in the film, with a little extra here and there. However, it does contain an epilogue. It isn’t huge, but it sort of sets the scene for the next film, or potentially it does anyway.
I enjoyed it. It was fun to listen to and a good way to wait until the DVD comes out and I can watch it again.
Which is great news! I can’t wait. So now I need to decide if I re-read the last one or two of the series before the release date! I’ve been waiting a long time to get to what I think will be the penultimate book in the series. It’s very exciting.
