Part 3 of this four hour long set and things are just getting going really. I can see parts of the original and parts of the last BBC version in there too. I’m still enjoying it and already wondering about when series 2 will be out.

FourSquare have finally gone too far. They’re forcing users to switch to their new app Swarm. I don’t really know why, but the new app runs GPS in the background and therefore uses loads of battery. So I’ve decided that enough is enough. I’m giving up on check-ins with FourSquare. If they subsequently change their minds and stop doing this stupid two app stuff then maybe I’ll start using it again, but for now I’ve had it with FourSquare.

The second episode of Survivors is just as good, and just as dark as well. It works well. It isn’t easy listening at all. In some ways it is just like an extended part of the first episode really. Not that that’s a bad thing you understand.

Big Finish: Survivors – Revelation

I’ve been looking forward to listening to this, and I wasn’t disappointed with the first episode at all. It really did deliver in the same way as the 1970s version did. Extremely dark and brutal in many ways. Yet very well executed indeed.

Space 1999: Series 2

I finally got around to getting series 2 of Space 1999. I started watching it and was at once amazed by the mere fact the theme music and title sequence was completely different. As I’m watching the episodes I keep noticing things that are different or unexplained for no reason whatsoever. Such as, there are several characters who aren’t present in the second season, for no reason whatsoever.

Even having said that, I’m enjoying season 2 so far.
