Another awesome looking story from Blake’s 7 and Big Finish. I’m really looking forward to hearing this one soon.

And then Palm Sounds was 8 years old
Amazing to think that. I almost can’t believe that I’ve been writing Palm Sounds for just over 8 years now. How did that happen? But possibly the most amazing thing is how people have responded to it over the years and what it has created in that time. In fact, when I think about it, it can become a little overwhelming, so perhaps better not to, and just get on with it.
Yes, I think I’ll do that for now.
4th Doctor: Last of the Colophon
I really need to listen to this again as I think I fell asleep through a lot of it. I was on my way back from Chesterfield last weekend after a particularly good birthday weekend for an old friend, and my mind did wander as I listened.
So it deserves a second hearing I think and then I’ll be able to decide what I think of this episode.

Getting Patchblocks
I’d almost forgotten that I’d funded these on kickstarter, so when they arrived it was a lovely surprise! I’ve barely had a chance to get to grips with these as yet, but having opened up the software and loaded a sample patch they look like great fun.
One of the most interesting spires I’ve seen
The dilema of opening things
Getting the Giant …
This was the other record store day release I really wanted, but couldn’t get on the day. At the time I thought I’d done pretty well to get 2 out of three of the special releases I wanted, but I’d really wanted this too and ended up looking on eBay for it.
Well the one I got wasn’t a bad price at all, and was in perfect condition too.
Numerous, the dashboard I don’t know what to do with
When I saw that IFTTT had integrated the Numerous app into their ecosystem I was intrigued. I hadn’t heard of the app before, but when I read about it I knew it was something that I’d want to play with. And it was. However, what I hadn’t bargained for was the that I’d very quickly realise that whilst it’s interesting to be able to collate all these numbers into a dashboard, I wasn’t really sure of what numbers I wanted to track. It was in effect a dashboard with no need for any information. Which is a little bit defeating.
So I’m still wondering what to use this for. What I can usefully measure or track that won’t be obvious or boring or pointless. I do hope that something comes to mind in the not too distant future as I think that Numerous and IFTTT are a great combination.
