someone who's doing some things
So here’s my old Casio VL-Tone, the VL-1. I loved these little devices. In many ways they are where my journey into electronic music began.
So I’m doing something to do with Casio VL-Tones soon. It’s not a big thing, but it’ll be a fun thing.
I bought this single last week, and I’ve been playing it a lot ever since. It’s actually really good. In fact, it’s a lot like the kind of music I think that Neil Arthur should be making with Blancmange. So it was a big strange really to be listening to it when it wasn’t by Blancmange.
I’m looking forward to Near Future making a full album, especially if it’s anything like the single it’ll be brilliant.
Just thought I’d mention that I’m on Instagram in case you weren’t aware. I know I’ve mentioned this before, but I thought I’d say it ago.
I’ve only listened up to The Liberator Chronicles 6 up to know, so I’m slowly going to get through all of these, starting with 7. When I’ve listened to it I’ll let you know the verdict.
I’ve been wanting to see this film for ages now so when it came up at the Tate Modern I was really pleased. But when I got there the added bonus was she was there too. Which was amazing. She gave a little talk at the beginning and then answered questions at the end. It was fantastic.
It’s been a long wait for this Kickstarter reward. But I’m sure it’ll be worth it. I’m really looking forward to getting it and watching it, and apparently it’s coming next week! So you’ll be getting plenty of news about it next week, when it comes.

Another 2nd hand record I picked up last weekend. A good one. Shame about Steve though.
Another 2nd hand copy I picked up at the weekend and in very good condition too. This was one of my favourite Visage tracks actually, and I loved the album too.
