The last episode of Season 1, disk 2. Servalan and Travis arrive on the scene and things start to get much more interesting. I love it! It’s made me think about re-listening to the audio-books that I’ve got and even getting a few more from Big Finish.

Yep, TV stuff. I like watching TV. Not all TV, but some shows.
Watching Voyager again
I was really pleased to see all the episodes of Star Trek Voyager come to CBS action. Watching them again from the beginning is just great, and as they’re on daily I can watch them in pretty quick sequence, although they do build up if I don’t watch them soon enough.
New series of Primeval, no, sadly not
Whilst Primeval certainly wasn’t the best of science fiction, it was also not the worst, and it had a lot of good points. So I was really pleased to hear that it was coming back to ITV1. Sadly, whilst that’s true, it isn’t actually a new series. It’s just ITV1 showing series 5. From what I’ve read it seems unlikely that a series 6 is going to come about after all.
That’s a shame as I think they were going in some good direction. There’s still some hope, but it is slim.
Blake’s 7, from the beginning
I just had to see the whole of Blake’s 7 again. I don’t know why, I just got it into my head that I really wanted to see it all again. So I’ve started right from episode 1 and my plan is to work my way through the lot.
After that I might even go on to listen to some of the newer Big Finish CD stories.
Star Trek: A piece of the action
One of my all time favourite episodes, it’s excellent and very unusual for Star Trek, but lots of fun. I’m really enjoying the re-runs of Star Trek. Apart from seeing lots of episodes that I love there’s also quite a few that I’ve never seen, or at least that I can’t remember.
The Trouble with Tribbles
One of the most famous Star Trek episodes. Yes, it’s funny, yes, it’s a bit silly, but it is a huge classic, and it can’t be ignored. After all, it inspired follow up episodes in the animated series and in the Deep Space 9.
It’s awesome.
Doctor Who: The Face of Evil
Bill Shatner on have I got news for you
What an enormously enjoyable show. I haven’t laughed so much in ages and ages. He was completely awesome, most especially when he sang songs from his new album, although perhaps sung is the wrong word. My favourite of course being his rendition of the sex pistols ‘God Save the Queen’.
Star Trek: City on the edge of forever
A completely classic episode, and an excellent story too. This has to be one of my favourite episodes of all time, this and of course the excellent “Piece of the action”, but this one is famous for Joan Collins being the guest star, and she did a very good job of it too.
Even now it stands up well, or at least I think so anyway.
Doctor Who: Nightmare of Eden
I watched this the other day. Certainly not one of the best Tom Baker stories, but it is ok. Interesting to see the documentary about the making of the story, and especially the t-shirts they had designed at the end of the filming.
Good to watch, not the greatest execution, but a good story nonethless.
