The more I use this little machine the more I enjoy it, and the more I think that it has some truly amazing possibilities to it. In the session I had with it tonight I managed to get what sounded like a whole track from it. It was amazing. I’m in the process of putting the samples up now. Actually, I’ve just finished.

I have always wanted a PMC 100. A synth with a built in cassette deck! What’s not to like?
So it’s arrived, but I haven’t got it up and running as yet. I think that sonically it’ll almost certainly be a disappointment, but I’m ok with that. At least I think I am anyway.
When I’ve got it running, you’ll know.
It’s nice and easy to fit on the back of the Olegtron itself and works fine. Very straightforward indeed.
Well I’ve been waiting for this for ages! Ok, not ages, in reality just a few days, but it feels like ages, and now I need to wait until tomorrow to try it out.
When I do, you’ll know!
I hadn’t played with this in a long time, which makes me sad. So I decided to get the MSII out again and give it a little play. It makes just as strange noises as it ever did, and is just as difficult to understand. So this time around I’m going to make a much more concerted effort to understand how to get it to do the things I want it to do.
That’s the plan anyway.
For me this was a great thing. Setting up the Handera 330 and the bC-16 together. That was so cool. Using apps like Theremini and BeatPad and Hedghog.
I’d been after one of these for so long and at long last this year I’ve got one. It is lovely, really lovely.
These are really amazing little devices. Brilliant design, really interesting sounds, but not an intuitive interface. Fun, fun, fun, though.
I really like the Olegtron 4060. It’s pretty awesome. I haven’t played around with it for ages, so it’s good to try it again and make some sounds.
