I bought this kit a while back and still haven’t done anything with it, but my plan is to change that this weekend. Hopefully I’ll have a bit of time to myself to get the soldering iron going without distraction.
Category: Tech
At times wonderful, and at times totally frustrating too. That’s technology, my experience of it anyway. I do a lot of stuff with technology and I suspect I will continue to do that.
Cashmusic have a kickstarter campaign.
This was originally called their ‘seed’ platform but they had to change the name. I first saw it via CDM I think, or perhaps Hypebot, so it’s great to see it getting some traction now. I’ll probably throw in a few $ myself too.
Ninja Cloud, another interesting Kickstarter project I might fund
Although it does make me think of Twine quite a lot.
More fun with Processing for iOS
A few minutes playing around with the iOS version of processing js. I do hope that this app gets a few much needed updates soon.
A spectrum analyser running in the emulator
I really couldn’t believe that this Palm app worked under StyleTap, but it did, albeit a little slowly.
Wading through ZX Spectrum Music Apps
I’ve been trawling through these to see if I can find any that are actually useful or workable on my jailbreak 3G. So far they are all just a bit of a novelty and not too much more.
StyleTap does not like PixiLang and Sunvox
I wanted to try to get PixiLang and Sunvox working under StyleTap on my jailbroken 3G, but as you can see from these screen shots, StyleTap was not happy about them at all. Of course, I can run Sunvox native on the iPhone, but not not PixiLang, which is a shame.
Openprocessing as a source of inspiration and learning
I’ve been lurking around openprocessing of late, using it to find useful processing code to serve as a starting point for some of my own experiments. If you don’t know openprocessing, it’s a great place for inspiration and to see what other people have made using processing. You can find it here.
Java on StyleTap on 3G
Another small step forward is getting Java working on the StyleTap Palm OS emulator running on a jailbroken iPhone 3G. It should be said that it isn’t particularly useful although it is an interesting thing to do just to see if it works.
