Thinking about Ototo and MIDI

After a little while of playing with the Ototo and enjoying what it can do I now want to attach it to some gear to play with it via MIDI. So my next experiments will be using Ototo to drive apps and other devices over MIDI and we’ll see where that takes me.

Something new in Automation: App Factory Turns Any Script a Into Real App

Posted by ashleyelsdonon August 22, 2014in Tech

Here’s something new for my Automation obsession:

“Mac: One of the nice things about OS X is the fact you can easily make tiny little apps using basic lines of codes. Actually turning those little snippets into…”

Something new in Automation: Run Any Macro on Your Mac Remotely from Your iOS Device

Posted by ashleyelsdonon August 21, 2014in Tech

Here’s something new for my Automation obsession:

“Controlling your Mac from your iPhone isn’t exactly something new, but it’s been pretty limited so far. Blogger Sayz Lim shares a post on controlling all kinds…”

Really loving the iRig MIDI 2

It’s actually a really great device. Mainly because you just plug it in and it just works. You don’t need to worry about it, configure it, managed settings or anything else. It just does what you want it to do.

Using iRig MIDI to send Patches to my Shruthi 1

Posted by ashleyelsdonon August 6, 2014in Creative Process, Music, Tech

I’ve been trying out the iRig MIDI 2 and one thing I’ve been meaning to do for a long time is experiment with Patch Morpher. It works really well, and, as expected, the iRig MIDI 2 just works seamlessly.
