This doesn’t need explaining.
And October is my favourite month of the year as well. I think it’s a lovely time of year when seasons change and the weather gets colder and more pronounced, and it becomes that time to dust off the winter coat. Also it’s a great time for ale too as the darker ales come out and replace the summer ones.
So, just good stuff to look forward to on the road to Christmas!
Ok, it was last week, but I thought I’d mention it. I had a couple of less than perfect experiences with the last batch, so I’m hoping for much more satisfactory experience this time around. I’ll be sinking the first one or two in a day or so. I’ll let you know the results.
I often have Gem at WOMAD, so when I recently saw it in the local supermarket I thought I’d try a couple of bottles. Well it was just as good as the draft. I was really impressed I have to say.
This was a lovely ale from my first batch from Beer 52. I really enjoyed it. Never heard of this brewery before, but I might need to check them out now.
I had this in an Italian restaurant in Edinburgh. It wasn’t bad at all.
