If you’re interested, my latest collection of pieces made with the Auxy app for iOS is also on bandcamp too right now and you can download it from there if you want to.
So I’ve been experimenting with the whole chat bot thing. Messenger chat bots to be precise. It’s a very interesting area actually. Creating a bot that can respond in a rudimentary way to what people are saying to it is quite a fun thing to experiment with. The main idea so far is to make a bot that can respond to questions for PalmSounds. My first attempts are up and running and working though. I’m quite pleased so far, but it needs more work before it’s ready for prime time.
I plan to add some pages for bots I like, such as the graphic score bot, and that’s probably a bit overdue really. I should get on with that sooner rather than later.
I’ve been watching this series since episode 1, and now it’s on episode 7. So far I’m still not entirely sure what is going on at all. It seems to be about a post alien invasion world, but there have been no aliens in it at all so far and all I can work out is that there are a bunch of rebels and a lot of people trying to hunt them down.
It feels like it should be good, but as I’m still not entirely sure what is happening I can’t be certain. I’d like it to be good. I’d like there to be some aliens as well, but so far, not so much.
You might remember that I posted about this a little while ago as I’ve made a bot that tweets stuff about the VL-1 including ADSR settings every hour. It’s a little bit of fun and nothing more, but you might want to follow it if you’d like to think of the old days of the VL-1, or if you have a VL-1 and want some sound suggestions for it. It’ll even go as far as telling you where you can get an old VL-1 if you just have to have one.
You can find it here https://twitter.com/VLTonifier.
Same sort of location, down on the right hand side in the sidebar. You can use that too if that works better for you.
Just thought I’d mention it in case you were interested.
