someone who's doing some things
I’ve always liked the collaborations between John Foxx and Jori Hulkkonen and this is no exception. This time I bought the CD / 12″ bundle, which is really nice. I did take me a little while to get into the tracks, but having taken the time to listen to them properly I really like them now.
I was always a big fan of the TV show “Who’s line is it anyway” and so thought this might be a good show to see. It was. All the improv elements were provided by the audience before we went in to see the show and then called out by the director after ringing a little bell. It worked very well and was very funny indeed.
Loved the show.
Not too many people will understand why, but I am over the moon to have all of these from the most wonderful Chad at miniMusic.
An unusual show, although I’m not sure what I expected. Very funny and touching too. I must find out what keyboard the guy was playing at the beginning though.
I love the Edinburgh festival. It’s amazing.
I do like Sherlock Holmes although I’m no expert on the books. This stage version of the “The Sign of Four” was excellent. Running for just over an hour in what can only be described as a cave off Cowgate with only five actors it was to say the least, inventive.
Whilst the venue was somewhat lacking, even by fringe standards the performances more than made up for this. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.
I admit to having high hopes for these. Most chilli flavour crisps are a sad let down so I envisaged something really good with the packet’s description of “fiery hot”. Sadly, I was to be disappointed. The crisps were a real let down. Slightly hot is the best description I could give them.
Just back from Edinburgh after a week at the festival. It was brilliant as always and I loved it. More on that soon, but I thought I’d post a nice shot of the city for now.
