More sound experimentation.
Category: Music
Music is a huge part of my life so it’s almost certain that this category will have a lot of stuff in it.
Cool, a new Blancmange track!
Not bad actually. Quite like this one. I hope they’ve got a new album brewing!
More NodeBeat messing
That Tweakybeat screen
Nanoloop work in progress
Another work in progress piece. I find it interesting that different music apps make you work in different ways and inspire different musical styles. I really should try doing something radically different with Nanoloop. Perhaps with the next track.
Cashmusic have a kickstarter campaign.
This was originally called their ‘seed’ platform but they had to change the name. I first saw it via CDM I think, or perhaps Hypebot, so it’s great to see it getting some traction now. I’ll probably throw in a few $ myself too.
Some tweakybeat
I hadn’t used this little app since the update that allowed recording, so I decided to record a little random tweakybeatness for no real reason.
2 x Monotrons
More work on beepLAB
Don’t get too excited, this isn’t going going to be some amazing new Palm OS music app any time soon, and quite possibly not ever in fact. At the moment it is just some experimentation on my part and that’s about all.
Having said that, I’ve managed to get a few little things working in it, like a menu bar, and a little keyboard thing going. I will tinker with it some more as and when I have new ideas, and I’ll post up the results here too.
Still not sure about Spotify
I keep thinking about getting set up a Spotify account for myself, but something puts me off. I’m not quite sure what it is, but I just can’t get to it as yet.
Is it worth it though? £10 a month. Will I use it? I am intrigued to use SPAPPS on the spotify platform, but who knows if that’ll be enough.
