Korg littleBits Synth Kit

I enjoy making things a lot. I don’t get enough time to do it though. When I do make stuff it takes all sorts of different forms, like electronics, fixing stuff (with Sugru etc), using conductive ink, conductive textiles, and the list goes on.

D-Pod 2: Test compile to make sure it still works
This was a first step in starting the process of changing this application to start working on it again. It’s good to see that it still works and compiles.
Simple Procoding HTML5 export
This is one of the code samples in procoding, an iOS app that lets you code in the Processing language. I adapted this slightly and then got it exported as HTML5 to run on the web. How amazing!
Something for the molecule
I’ve started making this. It’s a sort of patch sheet for the molecule synth. A way of recording ideas in advance of trying them, or committing stuff that works to paper so you can make it work again. Once it’s finished I’ll post a PDF of it for anyone who wants to use it.
Paper models, small synths and Foldify
I’ve been meaning to cut this out and see what it actually looks like but I haven’t gotten to it as yet. I like the idea of paper model synths, and whilst foldify is an excellent app for general making of paper models it isn’t as good for synths. Really it just needs one or two templates to deal with keyboards and it would be amazing.
I hope the people at Foldify listen up.

After a long break I’ve got started again with Reaktor. I’d forgotten how much fun it was.
Setting up the MIDI Molecule
So I’ve connected the UNO R3 into the MIDI element. I’ve downloaded the code, but as I’ve gone to verify it I’ve got problems. This might take a bit longer to sort out than I imagined!
