Sequencing using Phaedra and the MIDI vampires
Actually, that’s a good name for a band.
More Patch Morpher with iRig MIDI 2 and Shruthi-1
Using iRig MIDI to send Patches to my Shruthi 1
I’ve been trying out the iRig MIDI 2 and one thing I’ve been meaning to do for a long time is experiment with Patch Morpher. It works really well, and, as expected, the iRig MIDI 2 just works seamlessly.
Brute LFO and Molecule Synth
I do like using this app with stuff. You can get some really interesting sounds and effects from the various modules in my molecule synth.
Here comes some experimenting …
SoundLab site is live
We’ve got our new SoundLab site up and running. It’s already got some great resources available there and we’ll be adding more very soon. Please do check it out.
Video for my track: Sympaticon
I quite enjoyed making this and getting it finished off. It isn’t perfect by any means, but it isn’t bad, and as a first attempt (almost first) I’m quite pleased with it.
Of course, it makes me think of other stuff I’d like to do with video, so expect more at some point.
Just a little update to the littleBits video page
The page has been updated with a new video as I’ve added some more bits to my kit. The latest video on the page uses a line input to connect an iPhone 3G into the kit.
Getting some more littleBits time
I finally got some time today to do some more stuff with my littleBits kit. Using the new stuff to get some different outcomes with my kit. It’s so much fun to make stuff with the kit. So many interesting sounds that you can get out of it. Of course I could buy more bits and expand my kit almost for ever. I don’t think it would be too healthy if I did that from a financial point of view though.
So instead I’m starting to try out connecting the kit to other stuff. I already tried this with the molecule synth, which I will try again as it goes, but one of the new bits I got was the mic bit which also has a line input which should allow for some more creative connections.
As always, there’ll be videos …
