I’ve been really enjoying this season of Doctor Who, so I had high hopes for this story, but it just wasn’t as good as I’d hoped. Don’t get me wrong, it was an ok story, just not an awesome story as some of the others have been. It’s not like I’m going to stop getting these stories, I’m just hoping that this is blip in the season and nothing more.
I did enjoy it but I can’t say that it was as good as the first in this trilogy. In fact it really felt like a stand alone story really rather than a continuation from the first one with the 5th Doctor. I’m hoping that the third will make sense in terms of bringing them together to form a really coherent trilogy.
And I think it probably has to be one of the best episodes of the audio series so far. It was really funny, well written and a great little story which kept me happy for an hour. I hope they do a few more like this, specifically with Andy as well, as he’s a great character and really does lighten the mood.
Had the totally amazing opportunity to interview one of my all-time Spectrum heroes, the one and only RICK DICKINSON down in Cambridge. Rick, who designed the ZX81, ZX Spectrum, Sinclair QL, Spectrum+ etc etc etc was an absolute blast. A proper gent, full of brilliant anecdotes, wit and charisma, and a truly genius vision on […]
How awesome is that.
I got this book a week ago and as it’s so short I’ll probably read it very soon. I’m looking forward to it to see just what kind of arguments are made for this. We’ll see.
I was looking forward to this. It seemed like a great device and I’ve got quite a few ideas on how to use it, but they’re going to have to wait now for at least an extra couple of months it seems. These things happen I guess, and let’s face it, all kickstarter stuff tends to be late, especially hardware, so I shouldn’t be too surprised really.
I’m slowly adding to my collection of Teenage Engineering stuff and my latest addition is the crank for the OP-1. As ever, the packaging is pretty cool too.
